General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

1. scope of application

The following General Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between the participant in information events, seminars and training courses (hereinafter referred to as “event”) and Jensen & Komplizen GbR (hereinafter referred to as “Jensen & Komplizen”). Deviating general terms and conditions of the participant are not valid.

3. performance

The participation fee is per person and event date plus statutory value added tax. It includes conference documents, catering and lunch for open seminars/trainings. Jensen & Komplizen reserves the right to cancel announced speakers if necessary. by others and to make necessary changes to the event program while preserving the overall character of the event.

If the event cannot be held due to force majeure, the inability of a speaker to attend, disruptions at the event venue or insufficient numbers of participants, the participants will be informed immediately before the start of the event.

Cancellation due to an insufficient number of participants will be made no later than 1 week before the event. If the event is canceled due to an insufficient number of participants (less than 4 participants), a refund of the seminar price can be requested from Jensen & Komplizen or an alternative date can be booked.

A claim for compensation for travel and accommodation costs and loss of working hours is excluded, unless such costs are incurred due to grossly negligent or intentional behavior on the part of Jensen & Komplizen.

Jensen & Komplizen undertakes to do everything reasonable to help remedy or limit the disruption in the event of any service disruptions. In these cases, Jensen & Komplizen offers live online seminars/trainings for the participants. These take place live and interactively. This ensures that you can participate in the seminar from any location.

4 Due date and payment, default, offsetting

The participation fee is due within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. If the participant defaults on payment, Jensen & Komplizen shall be entitled to charge interest on arrears at a rate of 9% above the prime rate (§ 247 para. 1 BGB) per annum. If Jensen & Komplizen can prove higher damages caused by delay, these can be claimed.

In the same way, the participant is entitled to prove that no damage has occurred at all or that the damage is significantly lower than claimed by Jensen & Komplizen.

Payment is made on account. Payment by sending cash or checks is not possible; Jensen & Komplizen accepts no liability for loss.

The participant may only offset claims that have been legally established or recognized in writing by Jensen & Komplizen. The participant is only authorized to exercise a right of retention to the extent that his counterclaim is based on the same contractual relationship.

5 Cancellation

Cancellation (only in writing) is possible free of charge up to 30 calendar days before the start of the event. Later than 30 days and up to 15 days before the start of the event, 50% of the seminar price will be charged. Thereafter, until 80% of the participation fee is due on the 4th day before the start of the event. The full participation fee is due from the 3rd day before the start of the event. The participant is entitled to provide evidence that no damage has been caused by canceling the event or that the damage is significantly lower than the cancellation fee retained by Jensen & Komplizen.

6. copyrights

The conference/seminar and training documents are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution or other use of the conference documents is only permitted with the express written consent of Jensen & Komplizen.

7. liability

The events are carefully prepared and conducted by qualified speakers. Jensen & Komplizen accepts no liability for the up-to-dateness, accuracy and completeness of the conference documents and the organization of the event.

8 Applicable law, place of jurisdiction and place of performance

German law applies. To the extent permitted by law, Hamburg is agreed as the place of performance and jurisdiction.

9. right of withdrawal for consumers

You have the right to cancel your registration in writing within 14 days of receipt of the registration confirmation without giving reasons. Cancellation fees will not be charged. The timely dispatch of the revocation to the following address is sufficient to meet the deadline:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

This right of withdrawal does not apply if the booked event has taken place and the participant has taken part in it.

Consequences of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.

Jensen & Komplizen protects your personal data.

Jensen & Komplizen will treat the data provided by the customer confidentially. We use the data collected as part of the order and use of our offer within the applicable legal limits for the purpose of providing our services and to send you information by post and e-mail about further offers from us and our partner companies that are similar to the services you have previously used.
